The relationship between the Develekou family and olive cultivation is not just an agricultural activity—it is part of who we are. It all began in 1875, when our ancestors, originating from Valtesi in Arcadia, settled in Thermisia and purchased their first olive groves. With hard work, dedication and deep respect for the Greek land, they planted new trees, acquired more land, and eventually expanded the estate to 1,800 acres.
Since then, four generations have grown, nurtured and continued the tradition of producing our now award-winning olive oil. Cultivating the olive tree, harvesting the fruit and creating pure olive oil are traditions we uphold with care and respect for nature.
Visitors have the unique opportunity—if they wish—to participate in the olive harvest and production process. From October to late November, you can experience every stage: collecting the olives, transporting them, watching the extraction process and tasting fresh olive oil directly from the producer.
